WITH DR STEFAN REYNOLDS

TUESDAY 27 JANUARY 2020

ONLINE 7.00 - 8.30 PM GMT

This evening on the life of St Francis will evoke the joy and passion of one who has been called "the greatest genius of Christianity". St Francis inspired more art than any other saint in history, he however was committed to complete poverty. He developed a mysticism of poverty and a new way of imitating the humanity of Christ.  His mysticism culminated in an intensely physical sense of God’s presence. His Canticle of Creation celebrates that presence in all things. We will also spend time reflecting on his companion, St Clare, the first woman to found a religious order, and a mystic in her own right.
