In this online retreat day, Pádraig Ó Tuama will lead us through poems that explore the inner landscape: Rilke, Leonard Cohen, Lucille Clifton among others. Incorporating time for silence, discussion on the poems, and reflection on the wisdom of the poems for the practice of contemplation, we will be guided by powerful art into the consideration of fundamental questions: what gives us meaning? how can I find centre? where can I find nurture and truth?

Pádraig Ó Tuama is a poet and a theologian whose work has been featured on the BBC, RTÉ, NPR and other national broadcasters. With publications in Poetry Ireland, the Harvard Review, the Academy of American Poets and elsewhere, he is a sought-after speaker and retreat leader. He presents the popular podcast Poetry Unbound from On Being studios.
